Introducing a New Suspension Option for the Evo

Hey everyone,

Wanted to introduce everyone to a very popular JDM lowering spring for the Evolution 8. Goes by the name of kg/mm. I don't think most people know of the company, but they make outstanding springs for all Japanese cars like S2000, 350Z, Supra, etc. S2000 guys swear up and down by these.

But I know you're thinking, what makes these worth $270 when I can get Tein S. Techs for $100 less. Well, Tein makes a great product and their springs are excellent, but I feel kg/mm is superior because they take into account the fact that a) these springs will be used with stock shocks, b) ride quality must be maintained and c) that the car needs to be able to get around anywhere without any worry of scraping. All four springs are progressive and not linear.

So in the front, you have a 1.5 inch drop, spring rate of 3.6, identical to stock. In the rear, a 1 inch drop, with a spring rate of 5.3. This isn't as much as S. Tech but it closes that front wheel gap, while also having a stock appearance because the car doesn't appear 'slammed'. I doubt people will be able to tell you lowered your car; they'll think your car came like that stock.

If you're looking for that isn't going to ruin your stock shocks, and want improved handling with identical if not superior (I'm not BSing you here) ride quality to stock, give these a go. I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

$270 shipped to your door.

No not tested yet. I want to give it a go on my Evo to see how it performs. Our experience with J Speed in the past has been that they produce brilliant parts. Price isn't bad either.

Most everything we sell for the Evo is special order. That means there's a few weeks wait for most stuff. That is due to our relative newness to the Evo market plus the fact that a lot of our products are low volume.
