EcuFlash 2.0 Beta testing dyno results

Some testing of the new EcuFlash, Mustang Dyno, no correction:

2008 Evo 10

Mods:

100% factory stock power wise
18x10.5 wheels with 275/35/18 tires

California 91 octane
EcuFlash

+62whp / +31wtq peak gains with custom reflash

Factory boost control system, no upgraded pills, nothing. 23psi peak boost.

Huge gains in area under the curve, huge gains in spool, response and top end.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2008 Evo 10

Mods:

WORKS drop-in filter

California 91 octane
EcuFlash

+32whp / +13wtq peak gains with custom reflash

This 10 gained less than the above 10 as it came in with a drop-in filter already so the baseline was much higher than the 100% stock 10 above.

Note however that the power after custom tuning is approx the same between the two.

Factory boost control system, no upgraded pills, nothing. 23psi peak boost.

Again, large gains in area under the curve, huge gains in spool, response and top end.

Way to be Bryan!

It will be exciting to see what people can do with it for sure.

+1 for ECUFlash! I am looking forward to see how people do with it.. It's always good to have more competition on the market. Force prices down a bit.

Brian--sweet! Any major snags with the reflash process? Let's get this thing public!

What's with the stock power level differences?

another one today:

2008 Evo 10

Mods:
UR intake (larger MAF housing + Open cone filter)
UR downpipe, HighFlow Cat, single exit catback

This 10 baselined super high because of the TBE and intake that really leaned the car out, it's almost as if the AFR curve had been tuned already.

Baseline with factory tune = 272whp / 278wtq
Power after EcuFlash tune = 298whp / 301wtq

+26whp / +23wtq peak gains with EcuFlash tune.

Factory boost control system with no upgraded pills, 24.5psi peak boost.

Awesome. When should everyone else expect to be able to get the EcuFlash software?

Were you hitting pretty low loads with that intake? Did you adjust the actual maps or did you some how rescale your MAF to adjust for the larger MAF housing? I adjust the actual maps and it's a pain in the butt.

Nice work Bryan.

Is the curve supposed to be so rounded at 6% filter rate though? Just curious if you are on the same software version we are using on the MD.

We use a older version than you. Even at 1 it's decently smooth. Not close to how yours looks.

This one ended up a tad bumpy, the boost was a bit grumpy. I think it might have had a small boost leak.

Impressive! Not a whole lot of ROI on all those mods on the last car. 284 whp vs. 298 whp? 270wtq vs. 301wtq?

So 81% of the power gains come from the Tune alone?

Bryan just tuned my X today and i show the same area under the curve gains as all the others. It may not seem like much when looking at the other dynos with peak 23 whp, etc. But because the power is everywhere it makes the X so much more usable and it feels so much faster than it ever has before. Thanks Bryan!

No need to defend anything man. That graph is mega improvements everywhere. Who cares how much it makes at pk hp. Im sure car feels like a new one. Great job as usual Byran
