Chris, can you post up the boost curve? It looks like it starts to spool around 3k and hits 24psi right around 4600rpm?

I don't see why not. I have customer cars running around all over the US making well over 100hp more than stock. I have Blacktrack's car that see's nothing but road racing abuse and rediculous under hood an intake temps, maxing out the stock turbo with some extreme back pressure I'm sure. I have Ben Grahams car doing the same. We have personally bolted on 2 30r kits to both of the EVOX's AMS has been working with and combined they have competed in over 5 different road racing events, done testing before those events at our local road racing track (Autobahn), Gone on Fireball run (3k mile plus trip around the country in a week), and between the two of them they have made over 230 runs on the dyno for 38 different tests...

Yes, before the last time it went on the dyno I drove it down to the local Shell Station on E, and filled it with 93oct.

How is it possible that a GT35R spools up just as quick (actually based on the AMS Evo X graph posted, it looks like the 35R spools quicker) than a GT30R?

The beauty of deadlines and time allowed for testing are accountable for that one. With that combination the car made suitable power and the power band was definitely wide enough for what we were trying to accomplish. The 30R spooled significantly slower than we thought it should, but worked well enough to bring home 1st place.

This definitely is an example of how not all turbos/exhaust housings/exhaust wheels/compressor wheels/center sections are created equal. Just because it says 30R on it doesn't mean its been tested, re-tested and optimized by the person you are buying it from... Unless of course, its coming from AMS
