ABS light kicking in on dyno...? Anyone else?
Every pass I make on the dyno with my EVO X triggers an ABS light and a Service Engine light which is easily reset by turning the car off, and then back on. I disabled ASC on every pass but it didn't help.
Anyone else seeing this on their EVO's?

I'm sure this roots back to the airflow check and airflow against torque tables in the ecu, but I'm still confused why some cars exhibit this behavior and others don't. Why in the world would the ABS light come on though? That system should be completely unrelated. Computer glitch, maybe?
Actually I think it's because the dyno operator may be hitting the brakes after the pull. Once he does that, the front and rear wheels will rotate at different speeds. The ECU may think that something is wrong with ABS system since the wheels were rotating at different speeds when the brakes were applied, thus causing the ABS check light to come on temporarily.

I dont think that is it because mine only did it at full throttle and I was'nt on the brake

The ABS light is triggered (as others have said) upon acceleration, usually above 5K RPM or so. Weird. Thanks for your input guys!
