from your sig, looks like the tune was done at 25psi boost. Got a quick question:
are you still running the stock clutch / if so how is it holding up / if its not stock which one?

Enjoy your car with the new found power
Still stock for now with no issues with the clutch.. We will see how she holds up. My car just turned over 10,000 miles and I have had it for a year this month.

So what you're saying is I should order the Exedy?

Always a pleasure to work with you Matt. Im sure you will enjoy the car for sure. With this parts combination it makes the car actually feel like an Evo.

^ I know! Like I said, maybe if it was revved higher it would have hit 400....

Its awesome to be able to do all this on the stock clutch, then swap it out later with something with more grab. Clutch is one of those things that kinda puts the brakes on more power mods, cause if its slipping, you ain't going nowhere!

what is the safe rev limit on the stock springs on the x? if you could bump the rev limit to 8k, you would have 4-4.5k rpm of usable power band

Why did you decided to go with cosworth cams instead of kelford? That is awesome power, especially on 93!

Im sure it wont be long as soon as the tracks open up ha.

Dude this car feels so sick now. The cams made a huge difference. Breaking the tires loose punching it in first feels pretty good haha

Sorry, I got behind.

Yes, this is on 93 octane fuel, nothing else.

Stock fuel pump with RC 780 cc injectors. The car is not out of fuel as a matter of fact I am pulling quite a bit out of the top end of the map.

The car would for sure more over 400 whp if I kept reving it. The rev limiter is set at 7600 rpm though for safety. I'm in no hurry to blow up any EVOX engines, so far, NOT a single EVOX engine failure of any type.

Peak boost was never 25 psi or over, mid 24 psi range.

Great car.

The Cosworths were chosen because we have been using them in the EVO9's for a long time with great success. I put these Cosworths in my own car and had 35+whp gains so I knew they'd work in Matt's car too on the stock springs/retainers. I like to run what I know works.

I have run my car to 7900 rpm, stock engine, stock springs, Cosworth cams. No telling how long it will last like that so I'd rather be safe than sorry on a build for a customer.

I see from you last comment that you must have picked you car up!? haha So it feels good?

is the culpit in limiting the revs to 7.6k the springs on the X? I am sure with the power rising like that it will be easy to hit the limiter in first two gears as there is no power drop whatsoever....

I am making 411whp with the same dom II. I have 950cc injectors and stock pump but did have pump mods by Xtremeboost. Jestr tuned. The Dom 2 is a great turbo and the work they do with CBRD is proven. I am running 93 and never peak over 25psi.

Yeah it is night and day difference with these cams. It truely opened it up. Going thru the gears is a blast

Thanks again,
