Another DG Tune +100whp!!!

Here we go guys. Going further and further with minimal mods. We had (redevo08)'s Basically stock Evo X on the dyno yesterday and the numbers were nothing short of amazing! I would like to thank (redevo08) for making the trip from Jersey!

car:

08 gsr

mods:
Intake Filter
Catback

Tuning Software:
EcuFlash
24psi 93 octane

Results:
285whp/305wtq

Car was tuned by DG Motors and Kreionic using ecu controlled boost.

285whp/305wtq

GAINS:

+125whp/95wtq @ 6,750rpm

+100whp/wtq @ 5,252rpm

+75whp/100wtq @ 4,200rpm

All tuning was done in 4th gear at 24psi/93octane.

This is the first car to make over 100whp from baseline with minimal mods on our dyno.

Yes sir! It is just a custom 3 inch cat back(strait pipe) and a K&N Cone filter. The rest comes from the tuning(fuel/timing/Mivec) and 24psi. We are getting good here. Calling out all Evo X's!!!

Here's a video my little brother put together while he was hanging out at the shop yesterday. Cruddy camera but he made the video in HD.

That baseline looks horrible. I'm guessing some of the gains up top were attributed to this. This in no way takes away from the tuning at all. The graph looks very nice.

Many un-tuned x's look like that on baselines. Air/fuel is so rich and the boost taper is horrible from the factory. This car in particular was so painfully rich it was choking up on the dyno during the baseline!

DG,

Do you ever pull these cars in third? Are the numbers any higher if you do? What ramp rate are you using?

Your baselines are lower than any other uncorrected DD I've seen to date and it has me scratching my head.

PS: Awesome gains!

Thank You once again you guys DG Motor's and tuner Charlie (Kreionic)..I love the video..Like I said I will be back in the future for more tuning and mods..

Everyone my car is a night and day difference..I got tons more power, more mpg and more confidence in the streets running there tune..I gave these guys full trust and I got back more then what I bargined for..Your not driving an Evo til you get a tune..This car pulls hard in every gear and just keeps wanting to go..

Also all I have in the car is the K&N Cone Filter you see and a custom 3inch catback I had welded at a local shop by me and thats it..Anyone thinking about a tune and a shop to go to this will be your first and last..I am telling you I looked around by where I live and those other guys are basically SHADY plus the fact your will get less for more money..Here you can save money and buy more parts..Its well worth the tolls, time and gas to go there..You get a warm welcoming felling and you wont want to leave but if you do they make you want to come back very very soon..I feel I made friends and will def keep in touch..They will take care of you just the same they did to me..Keep up the GREAT WORK!!!!
