Your car should gain more than 28 hp from a tune on a stock Evo X. Is there something mechnically wrong with your car?

What tunning device was used? The numbers picked up are going to vary depending on how aggressive the tune is or isn't. On a side note I am considering DTM for my tune how was your experience?

LOL There is nothing mechanically wrong with his car. It is completely stock with 760 miles on it.
He would gain more HP if the boost was increased considerably over stock. Right now he is at 21-17 psi. The car is a completely different animal.

Since he did not post the boost, I assumed that the boost was set to ~24 psi. With the lower psi that you mentioned, the lower gians make sense.

Any reason you set the psi to 21? Is it because the car has low miles?

Not really a particular reason other than it is a stock car. I believe the customer should enjoy the car for a bit in its initial stages and then make an informed decision on his/her mod path. At that point we can start to get a little more aggressive.

We really are not interested in numerical numbers. never have been.
Honestly, the only reason we even print out a graph for customers is so that they can see the area under the peak numbers. What they actually feel when driving the car. Not a calculated numerical figure that has become the standard for the industry today.
His gains are quite impressive when you look at the data closely. Alot of people really don't know how to read a dyno plot correctly. They draw an axis and correlate numbers to the various points., But it is much more than that....

Nice numbers. I can't imagine making that type of power on my rsx when it was stock. Will definitely bring my x to dtm.

Those numbers are definately impressive for DTM's dyno (especially on a stock car). I can't wait to get my final tune prior to my move to Florida...

A little off topic but anyway. Nick I need a baseline tune before I put all my AMS piping and FMIC on. When would be the best to do this?
