DG Motors Evo X: Dyno results and dyno testing {merge}
Well we are up 35whp peak from bolting the blouch dominator 2.0 and ultimate racing o2/testpipe! Not a bad gain for our dyno at all. Probably could have squeezed another 5whp up top but we felt comfortable where it is as you can see it flattens out. Area under the curve is dramatically improved as well. Note that we are still using stock ecu controlled boost at 25psi on 93octane. Our goal is still 400whp so we ordered as sweet set of cosworth mx1 cams from buschur which will hopefully be here friday! Anyway here is the graph compared to the old 331whp on the stock turbo.
Gains:
+35whp @ 6500 rpm
+45whp @ 7000 rpm
+20wtq @ 7000 rpm
Overall I am pretty impressed with this bolt on turbo. Boost comes on strong and hard. Power holds very nicely up to 7500rpm. I love the broad power band. Hopefully these cosworth mx1 cams will make up for another 35whp. Remember, 392whp on our dyno makes 500whp on a dynojet!

Both runs were started within 200rpm. The only difference is how far we revved the car. The stock turbo tapered off real bad after 6600rpm. The new blouch 2.0 holds power all the way to 7500+ rpm. That is the only difference in the graphs. All runs are done in 4th gear starting at 2500rpm until whenever the car starts to fall off on power.

Buschur had them ready to go today. They had great results on their dyno which compares equally to mine. 40whp on their/my dyno is not 40whp on a dynojet....
I am more comfortable doing it in 4th gear. 3rd gear averages 10whp more. Did not feel like strapping the front of the car down. We started our baselines from the very beginning in 4th gear and we are going to keep it consistent. For Sh*ts and giggles I will do a 3rd for you tomorrow.
We will see Friday night! How is your build coming back together? Did you get everything back in?!?

Hmm. Somethings can be tricky when you don't have adequate room to work and or the right combination of tools. Take your time and get it done right, no need to rush now. I will go over everything when you get it back together and here for the tune.
