That must feel sweet...i know exactly how that feels. When i had my IX it had full bolt ons (but also pistons, rods, cams) and stock turbo w/ 100% meth and it put down a little over 400whp and a little over 450wtq on a dynojet...and the thing hit hard. I wanna put an Aquamist kit in my X now but i keep telling myself its too new to start putting meth in.
I think im gonna wait till tephra or whovever starts coming out with the capability to turn meth on/off while switching between meth map/pump map.

You my friend are brave..seems like you're driving a time bomb..is your motor built up to handle the daily abuse of 30psi!!? I am not hating..I'd just hate to read what happens a month from now. TTP engineering was saying something about the piston ring lands acting as little pieces of shrapnel under high boost (anything over 23-24 psi) they break up. I bet that car is a blast to drive though!!!

I think the biggest detail that people are missing is that it's running with METHANOL! They see "30 psi, 400ft/lbs tq, 91 octane" and think OMG DANGER TO MANIFOLD!
Peak psi isn't nearly an indication of potential disaster since tuning and other factors figure into how well an engine can run and hold together. Meth injection really opens up the tuning window and allows more cushion in respect to detonation and overall combustion chamber temperatures and pressures.

There are dozens upon dozens upon dozens, or more like hundreds upon hundreds of Evo 10's running over 24psi, some even on straight 91 octane that don't have these suddenly "factory defective" pistons we keep hearing about. Some of the 100% factory Evo 10's run 23-24psi.

Being able to switch from 93/93+meth on the fly would be awesome in the X.
