I just saw your previous post ... I guess thats the first time youve had a skeleton in the trunk while tuning?

I cant wait to get the cat out of this thing and get it touched up with the less restrictive exhaust and break the 300 hp and torque mark for good.

Ohh on thursdays I get out of class at 12 for the next several weeks so I may hit up yalls lunch meet sometime soon.

And for everyone sitting on the fence on the mellon tune ... good lord get it you wont regret it at all. Its a night and day difference.

Bump for a great guy doing some great tuning. I'll go to my grave preaching the Mellon sermon (at every stoplight).

Ill talk to Mike a guy that helps me install junk in my neighborhood and see when we can install the mid pipe ... you suggest tuning it or should we just wait for my gauge pod to come in so I can install the boost gauge, LC-1 and midpipe ... got it all here just waiting on THEMEMPHISFORCE on evoxforums to get to my pod ... he said end of this month he should get to mine, which is two weeks. BUT ... if you feel safe going ahead and installing the midpipe and tuning it ... then Ill see when I can get mikes ramps to get under the car. Ehh just let me know what you prefer.

Yes there was a most definate difference in stock vs stock with a tune ... I would highly recommend anyone that it be their first mod. I would highly recommend mellon doing it too ... he is for the lack of anything else 'the man'. He is very dedicated to making sure if a tune goes 'out the door' with his name on it ... that its the best out there. He leaves no room for second guessing his work.

My fuel mileage actually seems a bit better since I had Chris tune it... how is yours?

You arent kidding. Once I got that LC-1 in my house I sold that LM-1 ... I hated dealing with that thing. It pissed me off to have to hook that thing up.

May take a day or two to get everything wired and run but it will be worth it. I am going to run an OBD relocating wire over to the passenger side and the LC-1 hookup over there too for easy access. Now maybe we can use the dang cig. lighter to power your laptop.

and here's how far we've come from stock so far, +62awhp +52tq, it's about +70awhp at 7000rpm and more if we carried it out to 8k

we ran a g-tech but it was almost identical 12.97 vs 13.01, I guess my driving was better the other day lol, but it was hotter out and 67% humidity wasn't much fun.
mellon did this 15whp gain came just from the filter alone?
do mbc add whp?
thanks

the MBC was a big part of that gain, don't forget about the 19tq gain, that's what makes it feel really fun coming out of corners.
