ok so this car is still running an internal wastegate. add a WGA and lets see what happens!

There is really no need for an external wastegate on a stock turbo.

If that is the case, I already advised him to get a forge wga direct replacement actuator. That is all the car needs.

make sure you adjust it properly with a boost gauge. You don't want to over boost.

The 'local guy with the X' also weighs about 150lbs more than Mr. B W and only has intake/catback/ic pipes Dyno numbers don't matter, have to look at gains before/after to see what you got out of your tune. Track times can't be tampered with or read 'high' or 'low'

i did not say add an EWG. i said "add a WGA" = add a wastegate actuator. that will hold boost better to redline.
