Marcus's DG Tuned Evo X From Virginia!

Today we had the pleasure of tuning Marcus's real nice Evo X Gsr. Marcus made the trip up from Virginia early yesterday morning to be here bright and early at 8:00am. We arrived today and immediately got started on installing his ams wide mouth down pipe and forge wga.

After installing his mods we strapped him up on the dyno and did his baseline. He had a pretty nice tune in the car previously with some help from Gunzo and Sic pulling out a solid 259whp/300wtq @ 24/25psi. We then flashed in our custom dual mivec/timing/fuel maps, turned up the boost to 26.5 psi peak and unleashed 311whp/325wtq on 93 octane!

Great, smooth running car with a nice linear graph! Hope you enjoy it Marcus!

Mods:

Full Tbe
Buschur IC w/ Piping
Intake
Forge Wga
Hallman Pro Rx Mbc
26.5 Psi/93 Octane

Tuned by Charlie using Ecuflash!

Very nice, wouldnt the humidity be incredibly awful for tuning?

The heat/humidity won't stop us from tuning. It is 92degrees and 80% humid today in the dyno bay.

This car would have easily made 330whp on a cooler day. Can't beat mother nature though

I was about to say the numbers seem a little low...Humidity explains it all. Still with my tune coming up I'd be happy with over 50 extra horses

Yea well that 50 extra horses you see is just a peak number. It carries those extra 50 horses smooth and solid right to redline. Look at the spool up difference and the gains under the curve now.

This car should honestly make around 325whp/330/40 torque in cooler weather with less humidity, we can add correction but don't like starting wars and rather stay honest to our respected customers to whom we serve.

Yup, but mother nature can not be beat without cheating and we don't like to cheat!

This car still made awesome power considering how hot/humid it has been. The car still feels sick and smooth and I am sure Marcus was satisfied during our private road coarse track we have here.

Thanks DG Motors. The car is a BEAST and incredibly responsive. The turbo spools effortlessly and there is so much more power throughout. Pete, I'll be back in a few months to add the parts we discussed and get it re-tuned. 95 degree heat is a power killer but thats to be expected mid-August in New York. Thanks again for excellent service and providing a product of quality!

Yeh the graph definitely showcases the gains all across the board. Like I said I'd be happy to have such gains when I get tuned. I'm also coming from the cheater section with a gunzo map so I'm curious to see where I baseline and where I wind up. Good job tho

Glad you are enjoying the car Marcus. Make sure to stop by the shop sometime before you leave to go back home to Virginia. We may have some after hour racing going on. If your interested, I would like to have your car part of the crew!

Sounds good! Having a semi-prepped map only makes our job easier

See you when your ready!

nice numbers! I'm starting to think about having an out of state shop do my cam/turbo install and a tune.
