Alex's 390+whp Evo X!

A few months ago Alex from PA decided to use us for tuning. After making the trip from PA to Long Island, NY we squeezed out some really nice power on his stock turbo bolt-on evo x. A few months later Alex decided to replace his stock turbo with a blouch dominator 2.0 and 800 c.c Injectors.

Let's just say the turnout was great and the car feels amazing..........

Mods:

TBE
IC
IC Piping
Custom "full" Cold Air Intake
Blouch Dominator 2.0
800 c.c Injectors
Stock Cams
Stock Clutch

27psi 93 Octane

Here is his stock turbo dyno chart compared with his un-tuned baseline for reference- (baseline is higher than usual due to the car having supporting mods and boosting 24psi to start)

A nice set of cams, arp head studs, and arp rod bolts will push this car into the 405-415whp with ease at the same psi on 93 Octane.

Enjoy!

Here's the time slip guys. Not bad for stock clutch, stock cams, and full weight!

Wow! 90hp just by adding a DOM2? Sounds like a lot more power than a Red.

You recommend studs and bolts at 400? I'd be curious to see some before/afters with cams. I'm still a little skeptical about them on the X.

Great results there, don't forget to throw a good clutch into the mix as even non drag race driving will eventually tear the stocker up at those power levels!

Looks good. I have the same combination plus some cams. Hopefully I get similar results.

I forgot to mention the dom2 was added with a full tbe, o2 downpipe, custom cold air intake, etc.

The dom2 is usually good for 40-60whp by just bolting it up and tuning.

Overall the car picked up 90whp with the dom2 and a few added mods which is sick power for a pump gas car on our dyno.

Yes, we require you to have studs/bolts if we are going to break 400whp on our dyno.

Thank you!!! The clutch is the very next thing on the list along with a evo 9 master conversion.

l know all about Dyno Dynamics reading low, I'm 90 over stock for my tuner. I'm going to go E85 and that should be good for +145 or so.

Would you mind giving me a ballpark for how many hours it'd take a shop to do those studs/bolts? I'm wondering what installing that turbo *really* costs.

Glad you are enjoying your car, it sure is fast! Too bad the track closed, you will get out there and get your shot soon just be patient.

Gas mileage is better now than it was on the stock injectors eh? 30mpg is awesome!
