I can't handle the smell from a test pipe anymore (maybe I'm getting old), but I'm really impressed with the difference.

I'm with him on this. My last VIII had a test pipe, then a highflow cat. When I'd have my sunroof down with my test pipe you could smell the extra fuel burn, and the fumes would burn my eyes while sitting at a light. Put the highflow cat on and it went away 100%.

Ok that makes sense.. I was thinking of like a odd smell he was referring to..

I have yet to do any testing on a highflow cat because in FL we dont have emissions laws so much OPT for no cats at all..

kind of a newbie at tuning but why a boost controller instead of a boost solonoid?
