400whp Dom 2.0

This was done on 91ish octane by mistake. Mostly my own. I have not gotten on it to hard yet because my MAF sensor went out on the way home. I did get to do a few hard pulls, and let me tell you the car rips. I love it from a roll now. 3rd is my new favorite gear. I will update this review after I have the car for a week with a good MAF sensor.

Mods Include-
Dom 2.0 Turbo,
Stage 1 Kelford Cams,
Perrin FMIC,
AMS Downpipe,
Speedcircuit Testpipe,
Perrin Catback,
Nisei UICP/LICP/Tubo Inlet,
DW 1000 Injectors.

Great numbers, especially with no octane modifiers (meth, alky, etc)!!
Glad all the issues have been resolved and hope to see the car back in Texas for a good reason soon.

There's been some discussion lately about that mustang reading higher than others around the country. Still, fantastic numbers for 91! Congrats!

With all the downtime and problems that the poor guy had with this car, he deserves to enjoy it. I'm always impressed with the output from the Dom. I don't think the Red has anything on it.

great output from the dom2!

im curious though, if the #2 run was on stock turbo, how is the dom 2 spooling faster? was a different gear used?

we did testing on all kinds of X turbos, and the dom 2 range doesnt spool like stock....

just curious of the variables... its a mighty good turbo

Finally! What was the problem with your car? Was the timing off a tooth or whatever?

Congrats on finally getting it done and looks like a fun car

I might stick with my red and show you that it is a good turbo on e85

I knew this would come up. I've been to a dyno day and watched tons of ful Bolton IXs not even get in the 300s. Best X that day other than shop car made 340 with cams. GTR puts down the standard 415-420 on this dyno. Stock X dynos in low 230s. So I would say not to high.

Sounds like it was a plugged cat. I have heard that the material inside of a cat can melt under certain conditions.

I might stick with my red and show you that it is a good turbo on e85
Have you seen a Red above 450 on a Mustang or Dyno Dynamics? I haven't. The Red has been out forever so it's not like there hasn't been enough time for an all-out effort.

Chad, you probably haven't seen most of what was going on with this car. Turbo was installed in October. I didn't feel like it was running right. Took it to get dynoed and it made the 280 graph. 3 trips to Texas no solution wasfound still just 280whp. EvoDynamics picked car up at my house in OKC to take to Dallas and rip into it. They pull the exhaust off and find it was clogged from a failing Cat. Calvin at Cobb retunes it after putting an AMS downpipe and Speedcircuit testpipe to get to 400. So both dynos you see are with cams and the turbo. Just with the blocked exhaust fixed.
