Just curious what a stock X makes on this dyno. I might have asked this before but I am unfamiliar with the dynomite dyno or whatever its called.

I am guessing this reads similar to a dynojet and these numbers are pretty solid.

Good work HB!

Nice numbers. Good luck getting 500hp. I found that torque increased greatly above 30psi, but hp is nearly taped out on the red. (link in my sig for dyno chart)

You still running a HFC traction? That is holding you back 10-15hp at least if you are.

I am assuming it reads lower than a Dynojet.

When I dynoed and tuned my X with the AEM meth it made 358whp on a dynojet dyno.

After doing a pull on the dynomite dyno before a retune it made 20whp less.

Looks like he hasn't ported manifolds, unless it just isn't listed in his mod list. He could break 500 if he wanted to.

Yeah, the 481 dyno was with ported manifolds and a test pipe. I'm now back on the hi flow cat for now since it sounds better and I don't 'feel' any difference.

Oh well, bummer to miss a nice round number like that. Your mod list looks solid so I guess it is what it is.

Why are you calling this FlexFuel as opposed to just E85? I always thought FlexFuel referred to the ability to run either E85, pump gas, or any mixture of it without any change to the car: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E85#Use...-fuel_vehicles

Everyone E85 build I have ran on here states you can only run E85, and requires draining the car of all pump gas beforehand.

Hey Jon,

We need to change out that wastegate actuator and tune for higher boost. I want 500whp now

GM FlexFuel cars mix and match all the time, there is no way a plumber in a hurry is going to drain his half empty tank of E85 before filling with 89 octane. But, they do have sensors which measures alcohol content and adjust the ECU dynamically. For us with Cobb APs, if you are in the middle of nowhere and need gas urgently, you can still fill up with 93 /91 and switch your map. When your are ready to run E85 again, run it untill it's empty, fill it up to 1/4 or 1/2 with E85, and repeat a couple of times then switch your map back to E85.

OP - just curious, where are you going to get E85 in SoCal area?
