Quote: I had the Red on my car before installing the Green and I love both turbos, the Red actually scared the hell out of me because it just felt like @ 4000rpm God reached down and tossed the car forward. Of course I was also running 30psi of boost and have a lead foot. Robert at FP gave me an option of trading it for a Green and felt like it matched my needs more. (Great company to deal with)

So he sent me the Green and I started tweaking the tuning to find the sweet spot. With it on pump gas my car is never lacking for power in any gear. Its a lot like being in a vette or other powerful N/A car with power on hand all the time. No real power band to speak of its just there all the time. The Red like other bigger turbos just has that point where it snaps you back in the seat and all you can think is "Diff don't snap on me now".

I'm old now and don't need that huge power feeling anymore, 400whp is just what I was looking for and having it at 24psi of boost is a good feeling.
That is well put.

Can't wait to slap mine on... get rid of the anemia past 5000 rpm.

lol how old are you? Don't know if this is a legitimate question, but about how many miles do you get on a full tank of gas with this set up?

Nice setup there! I'm betting you are in the 120mph + traps speed area in the quarter mile and that torque curve hitting in quite early must feel good on the street. For testing boost curve safety I've always felt that 4th gear pulls were the best bet since 3rd gear is almost too fast and the load on the car as boost comes on isn't enough to get accurate results for spool.

Nice results, but what's with the dip between 4K to 5K on the Green?

Thanks again for posting the charts.

If you look at his boost plot you will see boost drops there. He said he didn't have too much time to fine tune his boost curve.

But that is why, his boost drops there.

Exactly boost is the one thing I can fine tune off the dyno, I know right where the power is now I just have to clean it up a bit.

On 91 octane.
That makes total sense, I couldn't imagine why the Green would spool better than the DOM2.0.
