I personally love the look, and you get bonus points for uniqueness.

Nice writeup! Hollywood I have a off topic question? I noticed in your video you got the same error as me service required do you know why that comes up?

It seems everytime I hit full boost I get it weird.......I'm pulling the trigger on a turbo this week just still confused which to go with

you were saying how the red seems like God reached and push the car forward sounds promising hahah I have pretty aggressive cams so which ever turbo I go with it will definetly feel great through the powerband...

I seem to get that only when I spike more than 30 psi boost.

^It is simply your airflow torque tables going out of range. At the boost we are running (30psi+) this will happen a lot. I got it all the time with the stock turbo. I still get it now with my red but I had my tuner do a little more with the tables on a road tune after and it helped but I still get it sometimes.

Told ya you were hitting higher boost

The reason this happens is because your ASC module calls on the same tables that the engine does to check them and the dtc disable makes them not really work. So the ASC can't communicate properly with the engine. So you get a sort of soft code. I pulled the codes at Mitsu and Tephra sent me some literature to read and this is what I came up with. Once making big power it is hard to tune this out perfect since they weren't intended for these power levels.

Ps. Knowing your thirst for power, go Red and don't look back!

I think you may have then bought a wrong turbo for your goal. If you goal was max power, then this is not the correct turbo for that goal.

me? I have a Walbro.

I am not really set on max #. Just a daily driveable turbo that will be mainly street/drag.

I think the error was because my traction control or the hood being up maybe, I have my limits tables off so thats not it.

Agree that the stock pump is good enough.

Agree that the 1000cc injector is the right choice for FP Green. My IDC was ranging from 78% to 80% running on 93 oct.

Hollywood_X, pm me your nick in the other forum and which forum is it?

Also have you done anything changes to your bov? I had done so becoz the stock bov cannot hold the boost.
