500hp 403tq MR

This was done May 17, 2010 on J Trans Studios AWD Mustang 500 dyno.
The car was tuned using Cobb Access Tuner Race on E85 fuel.
The car is still on the stock FPR, and has fueling issues up top still. Waiting on a fitting and some other goodies to fix this. I have mechanical way around the SST boost limit that I will make available to professional tuners some time next month hopefully. Mods are as follows: Garrett 3582 HTA, MDR Performance 4" intake, 3.5" exh, fuel surge tank system w/Bosch 044; SSP trans cooler, 500hp clutch pack, trans seal kit;FIC 2150 injectors;Kelford 214b w/springs;BC titanium keepers;ARP rod bolts & head studs; ETS fmic; Grimspeed 3 port; Mishimoto radiator; PLX guages.

The graph says 500, but you put 503 in your sig, lol. Is that to get higher than Jeremy?? Most powerful evoX Mr??

Regardless your torque looks considerably higher than his.

Different dynos, so it's not a fair comparison either way. It doesn't matter, both of these guys are pushing the bar so we can benefit, that's all that matters.

They both appear to be mustang dyno's, so i agree they aren't comparable down to 1HP, lol. However, they should be mildly comparable. I would estimate they are making similar peak power, but Kozmic appears to be making much more torque.

As long as the dyno doesn't have a correction factor, yah. But even though they are still in different parts of the country. Air density, temp, etc can play a factor by +/- 10whp easily.

Not arguing with you, i agree completely. It could even be 20-30 if you include rotating mass of wheel/tires and all that stuff.

Regardless, awesome numbers.

I know you aren't (I know you know your stuff), just wanted it to be clear to people that don't know.

This particular dyno was serviced and calibrated by the mfg within the last 3 months and uses no correction factors. Climate wise, Houston and Miami are pretty similar as well.

Typo, fixed in the sig.

Keep up the good work! With people pushing the MR harder and harder we can start breaking the notion that the 5speed is superior.... one day

This is a poor choice of words...they are both good for different things. It all depends on what you are trying to do. Not to mention your budget...

I mean in terms of holding power... Koz says he has a mechanical get around for more torque. That is fantastic!

Not the right thread for this, but the MR tranny gets rave reviews in the mags. It'll outshift the average person by a long shot. It's just been expensive and time consumming to get them up to these levels.
