Those are some good numbers Carl! I would definitely be happy with that. Now let's go to the track and see what she can really do.

I think this is the case but I may be wrong.

If your IAT is 100F, when you use water injection, the cooler water tends to absorb the heat/energy from the charge air and cool it down. When water absorbs 1 cal of energy from the air, its temperature of the water will go up by 1 deg C but the charge air's temp might go down by 3 deg C. The numbers are just examples, not real world numbers. Water needs to absorb more calories before its temp goes up compared to air. So basically, if your water temperature is also at 100F, even with it sprayed before the intake, you will not see a difference.

In the absence of water injection, when your IAT is 100F even with the humidity already in it, you are not going to see lower charge air temps in the intake because the water in the air has the same temp as the air and there is not going to be any heat exchange.

Im definitely happy with the tune. CBRD is world class. I have to say, I have never been to a better "all around" shop. Chad put together a Ferrari type of shop for the Evo community. You have to see it to believe it. The entertainment room made the time fly by. Plus I got the honor to check out a real Time Attack Evo in their show room..

If a Mustang dyno is considered to be the "Heartbreaker", would a Dyno Dynamics be cosidered the "Soul Crusher" for numbers?
Holy ****, another person that knows that a DD reads low, lol!

And to answer your question, yes...sometimes i wish i dynoed on a mustang for high numbers

I don't know the differences in construction of the dyno's, i just know how our local one reads...and it is stingy...very stingy. 390wtq on the dyno was enough to snap the rod in my car, which is closer to 460wtq on a dj

granted we have had cars with less mods make more power, and we've had cars with more mods make less power...

weather has a terrible affect on performance this time of year

Once I get a few more mods I will be at your shop for a tune!

The only difference in my setup from yours powerwise is the following:

HFC
Stock DP
Resonated Catback
Shell 93

All my components are from ETS too. I have the GS3 port installed too.

And I made 309 WHP and 289 TQ on the Mustang Dyno at KHC (They're a vendor here). I was so sad I did not hit 320 but the only real way to test is to measure the quarter mile times.
