Mellon Tuning - Alan Evo X * 93 octane @ 30psi * 354awhp/385tq
name: Alan
Location: Muncie, Indiana
Evo X 2008 5-speed USDM
FIC 1100 High Impedance
Twin pump
93 octane @ 30 psi
BR 3" tbe bullet
BR fmic pipes filter intake
GSC S2 Dual Mivec
354awhp/385tq
Alan is on 93 octane @ 30psi rocking the Gsc S2 cams , The overlay is when the car was stock and after the car got the Mellon Tuning Tune ...
Right Now we are in the process of the E-85 Tune , Well see how much we can get out of Alanīs Evo X and ill come back with the results
So Stay tuned guys !!!!!
We got Alanīs Evo tuned on E-85 @ 33psi and here is the graph it looks like we maxed it out , the slight increase in boost did help the tq and low/mid range considerably but you can see up top that the turbo can't do anymore so the power is the same. The tq is awesome though, 400 + is good stuff !!!
359hp/412lbft @ 33psi on E-85
Welcome to the Mellon Tuning Army !!!!!! Now go hit the track !!!!!

The overlay above is when his car was stock vs modded and tuned by us. Clearly the stock turbo is running out of steam but we're going to put in some e85 and see if there's anything left. He's leaning towards buying an Exedy twin clutch and FP Black from us next. This should put him all over the 400+awhp on 93 area and maybe 500+ on e85

That is Amazing! knock on wood.. could a set of DW800cc injectors hold up to that setup or would they have maxed out? and 30psi on a stocker is sweet, but how are the X's standing up to that much boost without built internals? reliability for instance.. Im thinking of pushing some serious boost on my next setup (FPred, kelford 214b's, double pumper,800cc's, head) would you suggest?

twin pumps and 800cc would be plenty of fuel bud.
we're starting on the e85 tune now but the turbo is maxed out at 33psi currently so it's likely going to pick up some tq mostly.

Thanks for the tune guys!!! I'm definitely leaning towards that FP Black. The torque on this thing is just freaking ridiculous, and it is so much fun to drive.
I know Chris earned his keep on this one because I wasn't the easiest customer to deal with. Tons of questions and he answered every single one of them and then some. I learned so much from this whole process while tuning with Chris.
You guys at Mellon Rock! I'm really looking forward to the upgraded turbo. This thing just needs a little more power.

LMAO..The torque is already there for the neck brace, I just need some HP to compliment it! Thanks again guys. I'll definitely be buying the rest of my mods from you and hopefully sooner rather than later!
