Other than that awesome gains..
$369.99 shipped actually And there's no denying that the biggest gains with this upgrade will be on E85 cars or those with turbo upgrades. Also, you're only looking at peak gains, that chunk between 4500-6000 the gains appear to be even greater and I'd be willing bet that's what Kracka is feeling when he is giddy with excitement lol.

Yeah and that's why this is all confusing. AMS retains a "stock looking" o2 housing with a 3" pipe after and claims gains from it. You guys at MAP have an o2 eliminator divorced design with 3" pipe after it and it made good gains. Cobb's downpipe REUSES the stock o2 housing and they claim to get improved HP and TQ by simply having a 3" downpipe. The guys at Cobb Plano really stand behind their product and given the gains Kracka got with MAP's pipe...I "could" see the gain coming from just going to a bigger diameter downpipe but no one knows. I'm sure it will provide gains...but how much is the question.

Oh and don't get me wrong. I'm totally thrilled at the gains we saw on Kracka's car with the MAP o2/dp. It is a very finely constructed piece. (except for the stock o2 sensor location, lol )

The more hard data we all have the better it is for everyone.
Yeah I'm with Kracka. I'm curious myself as to what the results will say. As he said, you can't argue with cold, hard facts and we'd like to get to the bottom of this. Plus I'm sure Cobb would love the results of the test if their research proves to be true. I'm excited to find out....just need to get in touch with Cobb.

AMS' "stock like" housing is nothing like a stock housing. I don't think you realize how much bigger it is.

Stock like as in a bell-mouth design like most aftermarket Subaru downpipes use.

That wasn't my point. My point was that it's the same design: Bellmouth, non-divorced. I realize it's bigger. I was simply pointing out the different design approaches.

Right, I get that, it just seemed he was trying to say that the gains from the AMS piece would be solely from the 3" pipe after the housing, which there is just no way.

Multiple people have tested the cobb downpipe, I wouldn't waste your time, we know there are no gains there or very very minimal.

Stick with the MAP one or if you want a cast piece the AMS one

^Oooooh interesting. Do you have links to those tests. I'd be interested in having more info before I decide on actually doing it.

Does anyone know where to find a dyno chart for stock down pipe plus e85 vs after market down pipe with integrated o2 on e85?

On the stock turbo the results won't be a whole lot different than my results.
