I know they are pricy but they seem to do alot of EVOs.

Have you heard any good/bad things about them?

they (Magnus) are pricey but I'd rather go elsewhere...

I have been using the AMS E-tune service since last year. All I can say is that Mitch knows is stuff more than anybody else and is always available to answer any question you might have during the process.

The results are also extremely positive as my car has never run so smoothly while delivering an awesome amount of power. Its a lot of fun.

I have also chosen AMS and Mitch to e-tune my car and I m pleased with the result .

2008 EVO X EDM 5MT
Perrin CBE
Perrin Downpipe with high flow cat
AEM intake
Grimmspeed 3-port
AMS IC
AMS UICP

The car does not have wideband installed .

Is there any EVO X MR w/ SST AMS e-tune experiences out there that would like to share? I'm very curious... I'm currently running off the beta OTS Cobb Stage 1 for the 2011 EVO MR and the SST shifting is less than desirable. I would love to hear that AMS has a good grasp on the SST tuning. Thanks fellas.

Since you are in Colorado, I'd go to Tobz in Denver. Mitch does a nice job, but there is nothing like a dyno tune. Brian should be able to get your shifting and everything dialed in way better on the dyno than doing it by email.

I have talked to Tobz, but he doesn't do Cobb AP pro-tunes.

We have a lot of time in tuning Evo X's period. We have done a lot of 2011 Evo X MR's so far and have had great results.

Email me if you have any questions.

Mine is a EVO X MR. I have my Greddy intercooler installed last month and have Mitch touched up my tune abit. All I can say is the car runs as smooth as ever and the SST runs smooth in all modes (normal, sport). Thanks Mitch.

Could you post your dyno chart for reference please? Thanks for your response.
