I'll let E-Spec chime in if he wants, if not we'll let the next dyno session do the talking. As for me I couldn't be any more happier. I proved ALOT of assclowns wrong. E-SPEC FTMFW!!!

Oh, yeah, got your vid a few weeks ago, and you X is HEALTHY...! Lol
Sorry, I was responding to the person asking about the FPblack in general...yours isn't on kill mode yet...mine is...i was referring to the black on kill mode runs outta breathe at 8k

Thanks for the positive comments guys,,, much appreciated.

Points to note:
--Peak boost was 30-31psi dropping to 27-28psi.

--The tune is still on the mild side and with under 700 miles on the build we took it very easy.

--Room left to make more power, we focused on making a broad power curve that would allow this car to take advantage of the gearing.

--This should make for a pretty easy car to drive relatively speaking... A slow safe shift isn't as harmful to et's with this kind of power curve,,,, the car will always seem to be in it's powerband.

-- Forced Performance has been very reliable in terms of customer service and product developement. They really go out of their way to make a product that allows us the luxury to run such an aggressive turbo in a stock frame. When I think about it, this is the right power to have on the road for a car this weight. The gearing that Mitsu's engineers put together in the X really work well with this turbo design. The stock turbo is out of breath at 7k, but this turbo makes you appreciate the the EVO X platform.

-- This was a good 'first round session' with the car.. Still some bugs to sort out and still a few more bolt-ons to open this car up. The foundation is there for a very solid car.

To KJ82,,,
After some time away from home this is a great way to get around while spending time with the ones you love and had missed so much!

Enjoy it man!

That's awesome, congrats.

Curious as to how you run that much boost on pump? Can the tuner please explain that as I always though 25-26psi was a safe range for pump.

Car must be a monster. I didn't see it in the list, what cams are you running?

We kept it under 8500 on the dyno, but after the engine is fully broken in 9k should be no issue.
