It seems as if it were just yesterday that so many people were banging on the 4b11t in comparison to the 4g63 saying that the 4b11 wouldn't make 400 much less 500 which is why I absolutely love seing builds like this cranking 500+ on the stock block. Keep on fighting the good fight. I love the X.

Its back in play finally. Finished the engine and got it back into the car last Thursday. I've been putzing around in the car a bit to give the engine some break in time and am talking with a local shop about installing a standalone ECU to get the tune settled in.

That's kind of a "loaded" question.

The term "reliable" is in the hands of the owner, like anything else.

We see evo x's come in for the first clutch job with anywhere from 4,000 miles to 30,000 miles,,, What made 1 clutch last longer than the other? Surely all dealer clutches are the same and one is not more "reliable" than the other right?

Check out Fueledmag.com for updates/news on the "Real Time Attack" circuit that many shops are getting involved with in this area.

For road racing and light drag racing on a stock motor, your best bet may be an FpRed!
