Tuned X

Had the X tuned yesterday

91 pump, Invidia Turbo-back, Injen Hard Piping, AEM intake, Custom Boost Pill= 325 whp and 340 lbs @25psi
It's a Daily so tuner took that into consideration to give me a reliable/conservative tune.

and a little fireball for those of you who like that sorta thing...

very nice given the gas + mod list. always a good idea to keep it dialed back a notch or two on the DDs, lest you learn the hard way like I did (-:

That doesn't seem too good with 25psi, nevermind I just noticed the mods.

No one can explain unless you at least indicate what kind of dyno. Even then, even the same type of dyno, whether Dynojet, Mustang, DynoDynamics etc, will/might read different at different shops depending on calibration, operator settings etc. Your 290 whp might be exactly the same as the OPs 325, who knows?

Its to give a reference point. You cant compare 500whp to 325whp. But you can compare 500whp to 480whp. The dyno itself can be manipulated during the pull to make the car seem like it has 60 more horse than it should.

Its sort of like an amp for a stereo. If it says 500w RMS and 1500w peak. Youll never see the 1500w but its there. A dyno operator can make it so that ridiculous numbers youll never see can be printed out. Its all in the calibration/software/dyno/ambient air/air speed....blah blah blah

Nice numbers. Why does the boost decline? Wouldnt it make more power if boost was consistant?
