Been a long time coming but finally got our new EF2 turbocharger installed and on the dyno

+50whp +22ft/lbs at the same boost level and it hits 300ft/lbs within 150rpm of the stock turbo, I can work with that Of course I am a bit biased!

MAP 3.5" Intake
MAP EF2 Turbocharger
MAP O2 Eliminator Downpipe
MAP Test Pipe
MAP Varex Muffler Catback
MAP Fuel Pump Install Kit
FIC 1100cc Injectors
E85 Fuel
Grimmspeed MBC
AEM X-Wifi Wideband
Stock Intercooler
Stock Intercooler Piping
Stock BOV
Stock Intake / Exhaust Manifolds
Stock Clutch

Comparison to stock turbo

It should be perfectly safe and reliable at these levels.

Nothing is for certain, but if I had a stock block I wouldn't hesitate to run this either.

Great setup.

A huge chunk of the "risk" lies in the tune when pushing a stock motor. It's not too outrageous imo.

I pushed 450wtq on the stock block...sure I put a hole through it but that's what happens when you go big.

Yep, 450wtq give or take.

The tune dyno'ed at 460whp/430wtq on your dyno running like 29psi. I was still on load based boost control so it didn't hit my usual 32-33psi which was closer to 500whp/450wtq.

It was a sad day.

Assuming the tune is good, sure. Most people on the board are at those levels on pump gas and bolt ons. It's been proven I'd say.

Chris is it safe to have the stock FMic on there with this much power? And how is the stock BOV holding up to 28 lbs on EF2? did you crush it?

Maybe this car has the latest/greatest reflash from the dealer? Depending on what Mitsu actually changes in those dealer reflashes it could potentially aid it in making the power of a stock 2010/11.
