I want in on the battle too! But I will be a ***** this time after what happened before.
Nothing wrong with being a little conservative.. its common that guys get these HUGE HP #'s in their head and 1 little failure will set things way back.. if i had 1.00 for every time i heard someone was coming for my 921whp t3 record.. i could retire..

wow that is very impressive driving... what was the trap?

these evos are real monsters at the strip with the right people behind the wheel and right rubber on the tires

Yea I hear that...the biggest thing I've learned now that I have had two motors go down in 1 year, a working evo > a high HP evo that sits broken. I miss my reliable e85 stock turbo setup honestly.

Conservative is my new plan.

Murlo my man I'm with you. When I finish my new engine build I going to dial in a nice little 500+/- tune and be done with it. Up and running beats another engine build any day of the week.

Murlo, you're experiences are one of the biggest reasons i sold my X and went with a z06.

Anyways, awesome numbers as always Mike. i could only imagine how hard 600hp must hit on a black.

good #'s - but if I ever get on a dynojet, that number would be #2 :-) And I'm out of fuel so we have more room to push. I'll be in the running with you guys and hollywood for the highest hp stock frame. Best 3-way ever ;-)

You actually sold your Evo X based on someone else's experience... To each its own I guess...

I can vouch for that...! But it also depends on other factors too, but I won't go into that.

Yea, silly to sell an X based on other peoples stuff lol.

And if you say tuning is the other factor don't make me laugh. It's best we don't get into it though your right.
