just got back from ivey have full bolt ons plus tune and only got 316awhp why are my numbers so low

What mods? Remember that each dyno is different. You may have 316 whp on their dyno but you will have 330 whp on another with the same tune/mods.

 

Did you get a base line to compare to?

 

dynos are a tuning tool........you run the dyno get a number..........do your mods or change your tune or whatever.... run it again. If numbers go up, you done right, if they go down, your doing it wrong. Don't get caught up with the dyno game. Go take it to the 1/4 and run then you'll know how fast it is. Or take it to autox and you'll know how fast YOU are.

+16whp from the tune seems a bit odd. How did your torque numbers change? What are you using to control boost? How about the area under the curve? Do you have the before/after dyno charts to post? If so, I'll move this back to the dyno results section.

 

yea i have the sheet ill post it my tq was only like 310

 

How Many Miles on the car? I had this problem with My 8 back in 2006 were I went to DynoFlash with HKS Cams, CBE, EBC, Injen Intake Car only made 308whp and 310whp (DJ). My problem was I was still on the stock Clutch that was on its way out. Once I swapped it out for an ACT street disk at the time I went back and put down close to 350whp. My Evo had on the stock clutch about 27,000 Miles Hard New York City Miles stuck in heavy traffic Daily and some Drag runs at the track. Poor Clutch didnt stand a chance lol. Also Iv seen Countless evo X with less then 8,000 Miles Fry there Clutches in my area. Also there can be other Factors that come in to play resulting in the small gains.

You have the Perrin 1pc DP with Cat or just a Down pipe Test pipe?

 

Did you ask Ivey what he thought? I'm sure he has seen more then his share of X's and should have been able to give you some feedback. Unless you talking about a different ivey... in that case I would assume you just got a lame tune
