2011 evo x stage 2 only 316awhp whats wrong
What a vast amount of consumers/ enthusiasts don't understand is that most of the shops are just there to make their ends meet and not yours. If its a tune you want, then a tune you'll get. If more shops were to advise that if their setup is not 100% up to par(boost leak test, wiring, fuses, ect...), it may cause their tune results to be off. That would in turn save the consumers/ enthusiasts time and money. But then again how will they make their ends meet when ahead lies the road to more funds in their pockets... What could've been a $40-$50 boost leak test plus a tune, turns into a $400-$500 tune, a $40-$50 boost leak test after the bad results, and then another $400-$500 tune... Smh...
So what were you saying again?
Sometimes all it takes is a customer with a good attitude to get the most out of us.

I didn't have my car tuned there nor does it sound like you did. Unless you had work done on your car there how can you pass judgement so quickly? Like Ivey tune stated they did not install the parts so perhaps the person who did failed to verify that everything was in order.
So your saying that Ivey did not try to make things right? I know some businesses only care about making a buck but it seems that Sean at Ivey gives a damn about his customers. If he didn't he would not even bother trying to solve the issue or even posting here.

So in conclusion yes Iveys tune are SOLID and SPOT ON, but having me wait 5hrs total in 2 visits isn't professional, it's just rude.
Yes I knew about the other dyno sheet and no I didn't lie, that dyno result was the reason I went back there and did it myself. They didn't run the car properly on the dyno, I ran the car and without touching anything in your ecu the result was different than what they got, I even laughed at them about that, what clued me in was the af they told me, I knew something was off. I came in warmed it up ran it, made the reported hp.
I attributed this to the fact that the car was run before it was fully warmed up it doesn't run properly when not fully warmed up, runs on different mapping etc.
So I didn't lie, and don't for a minute think that, not me buddy. Why would I, if it affected it then we would just make corrections.
As for the days I tune, it's pretty much every day, unless there are projects going on in or outside the shop that I have to deal with. I sometimes have alot going on, I do alot more than tuning cars, and it takes its toll sometimes.
If I remember correctly, we dyno tuned your car.
You complained about the low torque (which actually wasn't low).
You had an issue with the maf failing, which was not an issue when I did the tune, it happened subsequently.
I offered to redyno the car after the maf replacement.
We dynod the car and you got the dyno sheet, and NO TUNING CHANGES were made but the torque was up as I believe the colder day had that effect.
Now if there was an issue with the MAF at the time of tuning, I would expect there would be different outputs from the new one, and this would require tuning changes. The new MAF required no tuning changes.
Don't ever question my integrity, you don't know who you are dealing with, my integrity means alot to me.
We are working to improve scheduling as there have been a few issues similar to yours, so sorry about the waiting around at the shop.

I'll respond because the person that Ivey is referring to is myself. Kj82 is my cousin and I explained what happened to him. So to clear things up, when it comes to the actual "tuning", Ivey will give you a SOLID tune, without question, especially coming from a DG tune lol. Now customer service isn't up to par in my opinion. I say this because when my MAF went, Ivey did have it for me the following day and did schedule the dyno tune a week or two afterwards(because we all know Ivey tunes on Tuesday's and Thursday's, unless that changed idk). Now the first time I went there we scheduled the tune for 12 or 1 and he didn't get to the shop till 2hrs later. My second "dyno visit" he called to push our appt one hour later and he had me waiting for 3hrs this time. Sam had the guys put it on the dyno and they told me yes the MAF did affect the tune, then when Sean got there he did a couple of pulls and then had the car to the current state which is full bolt ons@ 350awhp 340wtq. Sean comes up to me and says "yea the tune wasn't affected, I told you." but he obviously didn't know that sam already gave me the dyno sheet of the power I came in with. So yes he lied but i didn't care at this point, after waiting 3hrs I just wanted to go home.
So in conclusion yes Iveys tune are SOLID and SPOT ON, but having me wait 5hrs total in 2 visits isn't professional, it's just rude.

Now I know why I sold me evo again,so I don't have to deal with dumb things like this..The problem is these tuners play with peoples heads and make them wait and wait, I myself would just walk out and they can kiss my you know what..
