So it let go?

I had my GTX30 setup at 450 whp on STM's dyno and it seemed to hold up but that would be around 490 whp on an average Dynojet. Boost was 28 psi and I had the torque come on somewhat softer than it could with lower timing and avoided revs higher than 7800. Torque curve only dropped off slightly through the power band so it was probably as good as you could get on the stock block.

What kind of buildup plans are in the works going forward?

I think it would be very cool to review the data.

I am really looking to see how low our dyno reads, as it is a handicap when it comes to marketing. No matter how much you tell the customer the delta change from baseline is what counts, or Mustang dynos read lower... it never fully sinks in...lol If tuners(like myself) post some data with our dyno plots, it may be really helpful for the community to compare(more so) apples to apples, regardless of dyno.

Just a thought. Hop the car is still going strong. Thanks guys.

Cheers,
-John
Would you like to do a "back-to-back" test vs our dynojet? This would allow you to have a reference pt.

No I think PAEVO was saying he likes Murlos tq curve... Murlos huffed a rod.

The motor we tuned is running strong.

Depends on which motor you mean, lol. I thought you meant the OP's motor let go too when you said that.

The last graph I posted was for my built motor which spun a bearing and I am reusing 3 of the manley rods in my new build.

What happened to the "RECORD" rule? I noticed the HUGE RECORD type in the first thread.

is this motor still in one piece? Let me rephrase....are the rods still in the block? Reason I ask I am about to slap my new Ball bearing black to my full bolt on + fuel system EVO X....doing cams, pistons, rods and gaskets in winter (so basically 8 to 10 months to trust this motor from going kaput) and I was wondering if I will be safe.....looking for 420whp / 450 whp max and 370 to 390wtq to be safe....I know thats utlizing only half the potential of the black....

Yes sir, The motor is still together and nothing has blown to date. You will be fine at that power level. Just keep your timing low at peak tq and keep your tq below 390 and you will be fine.

For the power goal you are looking for the ID1000s will be fine. You can also get away with just a Walbro 255 on HP mod. If you plan to go E85(If you have that in your area) I would go ahead and get a BR Double Pumper so you don't ever have to worry about fuel again. The intake setup will be fine for now too.

I am in VA the shop is in NC. Yes we do a lot of EVOs and STIs. Go check out our Facebook that is linked in my sig. If you have any more questions I'll be more than willing to help you sir.

If you need a tune or parts shoot me an email and I can get you set up. Or you can contact Josh@Spec-Ops and he can get you pricing as well. He handles most of the pricing/orders for the shop.
