AKUMA tuned 2010 MR Touring

Went to AKUMA today to have them install my ETS tbe and give the car its first tune. John ended up getting the car to put down 287 HP / 280 TQ at ~25 psi on their mustang dyno.

Current setup:
Injen intake and UICP
ETS o2 recirc dp
ETS high flow cat
ETS v2 quiet exhaust

Thanks to everyone at AKUMA for their great work and knowledge. Will definitely have them work on any future mods I may have and would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Yeah I live right off 516. Thanks, I dont think I've ever seen your car around. Are you planning on going to East Coast MOD 2011 next weekend?

Put together a quick video of the dyno pulls.

I hear great thing about Akuma recently. I am tempted to take my car there for a dynotune.

Sorry for the late response!

I didn't go to mod cause I had an exam in grad school and preparing for finals. MBA sucks especially when you have no interest in the "core" classes hehe.
516 breakfast club for the win. full of cougars and milfs

Car looks good man! How long was the tuning session?

heh, no worries.

MOD was ok, saw lots of evo's from around the area. Went over to philly afterwards for some yummy cheesesteaks. =)

Have yet to go to the breakfast club since it opened, and I've lived in OB for over 25 years. it always looks packed on the weekends though.

The tune took about an hour or so, I was pretty much there all day since they installed the whole tbe for me.

evo vs sti day is coming up this saturday 10/15/11 at englishtown. I think im going to go to meet up with a friend, dont think ill be running though.

Thanks for posting, and the video. Very nice once it got past the music and I could hear the car itself. ;-)

Thanks for the kind words. We are always available, so if you ever want to stop down, feel free. You are encouraged to check out the shop, and meet the crew. I am happy to go over your car with you and see if a tune or any other services may be in your future.
