thanks guys-

tuning U2SLO's car right now-

up about 70whp over his bb hks turbo at same boost, and only lost 100 rpm of spool with the BBX

Nice results, There's a few things I would recommend and that's the Magnus CMC Kit, A Aluminum Valve cover as the PVC ones are known to melt with tubular manifolds. But other then that I bet its a blast to drive. Great job Chad.

Wow, this EF3 just walked away from the 3076 Chad tuned on Monday, and it had an upgraded compressor wheel IIRC. That's pretty impressive!
What are the wheels on these EF3's? This was same mods (injectors, I/C w/ piping, TBE, boost control) and .5 psi more, but regardless...
Torque seemed a bit low on the 3076 (for what you'd expect), was it an extra conservative tune?

Chad what is the percentage loss for the Automatic Trans?? This BBK full is spooling 100 rpm's difference than that HKS DBB turbo OMG!!WOW!!:When we installed and tuned the HKS is was spooling like an evo8 stock turbo! Please excuse the question for the thread off topic and all,but would just like to know thanks.

Very nice results!

Btw, what is the stock fuel pump good for power wise on pump gas?

Peter-

SST loses about 10-12 whp I would say-

your car is up just about 100 whp over the HKS turbo, and 72 wtq at redline-

the cars a beast and cant wait to bring it back for more mods in a few months ! i did two pulls with my friend in a evo 8 with a stock motor and hta35r that was tuned by tsc comp and supposedly made "500whp" on his remote tune and i pulled on him by a car both times!! then pulled on my friends 8 with a 9 turbo and cams and blew him out by 4 cars they were furious. they didnt thnk the X had it within being its "alot heavier" lol. im amazed the car feels great you couldnt have done a better job !

So ur saying that a BBX lite makes as much power as an EF3?
That doesnt make sence. A lite should be similar to an EF2, and the BBX full to an EF3.

Regardless a wins a win.. but.........

Nik to make that race fair, you would have to unhook one of your vacuum lines and also have a boost leak.. his car was no where near 500 when you ran him.. maybe 380-400. (it only trapped 116mph in the condition you raced it)

we will fix his car and then you guys can have another friendly run and you can see how you fair against him next time.

prior, his car trapped 125mph with less power, (not really less power given the health of the vehicle at the time), but comparing sheet to sheet.

if you like running people i have another 400whp vd car in NJ you can run? let me know.. he trapped 120mph. (should be a good race)

also, if you want to see how you do against my personal car ill run you for fun also.. im about 15min out from cbrd. i only do 520 in vd.. but my car traps around 128mph at that power level.

--

on another note.. i really dig your color theme. wouldn't mind seeing the car in person and getting a ride in it..

Similar power to the lite running 28psi straight across. If you ran that kind of boost on this turbo the numbers would be much higher....it flows a lot more air.

Great #'s though. Looking forward to getting my EF3 in.

I said for the boost we ran, and how it turned out-

at 26.5 psi or so- the power numbers were similar to BBX lite's we have done- with slightly slower spool-

I would expect at higher boost pressures because of its lbs min rating on the EF3- it would make more peak power-

Cheers

not true-

I did a bbx lite within the same week that made almost identical power at 26.8 psi-

and we arent going to run 30psi on the 4B11T for daily driving use-

take care jake-

Did it have cams or anything? Similar mods to this car?
I'm just curious because all of the lite graphs I remember needed higher psi at redline to crack 400whp.
This EF3 boost plot looks like you're dropping it to at least 23psi when it breaks 400whp...
