2011 GSR BB FP Red Results

So just thought i would throw up the recent numbers i got from VD. Tune isnt finished yet but power wont change that much, we are just smoothing out the boost and afr curves. However my clutch is slipping bad so no more tuning or WOT until i get it replaced.

Power Mods:

Ball Bearing FP Red, ported, 25psi WGA, Hiflow oil feed line.
FIC1100cc Injectors
Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump
AEM Fuel Pressure Regulator Kit
ETS 4" IC
AMS CAI
AMS UICP
AMS LICP w/ TiAL QR bov
AMS Widemouth DP
T1R Resinated TP
Tomei Expreme Exhaust
GS 3port
Clipse3GT Tune

Other Mods:

Perrin Rear Sway Bar
Perrin Rear Endlinks
TWM Short Throw Shifter w/ Cage replacement
Weighted Shift Knob
TWM full bushing replacements
Projector Headlights with 6000k HID's in Lowbeam and Fogs
5% tint all around
AEM Wideband and Digital Boost Gauge
DSG A-Pillar Gauge Pod
AMS SS Braided Lines
Motul RBF 600 Brake Fluid
Rally Armor Mudflaps

So with that being said the car made 423hp 382trq. It was between 10-12*C outside and these were on 94 octane.

So all this is still a nice easy conservitive tune. I told Kris that my car would at the drag strip, time attack and autox quite often. So he kept the boost at the mid range and kept it abit rich to keep things cool. Recently my undertray ripped off so my new SSP Underpanel will be here Wed or Thursday.

Kris sent me a new tune last week and when i went to do the pulls the clutch was slipping....

So im talking to Sean from DSG about either going with the following...

ACT HD 6 puck clutch kit
ACT Streetlite Flywheel
AMS CMC

or

CM FQ400 Clutch Kit
Resurface stock flywheel
AMS CMC

theres a bit of difference between your BB fp red and my JB fp red....you seem to gained like 300rpm maybe a little more in spool!!!......btw go with the ACT CLUTCH its awesome....CMC is a must!!!......i have a resurfaced fidanza flywheel for half the cost of a brand new one give me a shot

Yea thats the average spool increase between the JB and BB turbos (~300-400rpm). As for the clutch im still weighing my options. I really didnt think the stock one was going to go this soon. I was going to upgrade it next summer but i guess ill be doing it sooner.

Also im surprised how much of a difference cleaning the air filter did. It's the AMS CAI and its been on the car for 4000-5000km's and half of that was with no undertray since that ripped off from the snow. If you look at the AFR difference on the graph with my clutch slipping you will see the run with the slipping clutch is alot leaner.

Congrats on the car man, great job. Few questions, where are you running your bov vacuum line to and what spring are you using? Thanks
