2013 GSR (not yet released to public) Cobb Stage 1 Map

I had the pleasure of helping COBB Austin do some testing for their 2013 OTS maps. Walked out with a AP with new unreleased firmware and a stage 1 map. heres a quick vid.

Stock 2013 GSR 93 octane

Thanks to Ian for setting it up and Chris and Braden for tuning the evo. Awesome customer service!

For those who have been waiting for 2013 support, its coming guys!

That all depends on what kind of dyno that is.

To the OP, what were the baseline numbers before you got tuned?

dang good numbers for a Stg 1 OTS map. I can see the HP being up there but seems like really high TQ for Stg 1 even if it's on a Dyno Jet.

It was on a Mustang Dyno at Cobb-Austin. the baseline was 279 HP and 300 TQ. they said the baseline was higher than what they usually see on a stock x. the dyno read slightly high for a mustang i think. on the print out of the tune, the final #s were 309 HP (+30) and 342 TQ (+42). they are using the map as a stage 1 for testing, but essentially, its a custom tune for my car. very happy with the results. and the guys are Cobb were awesome to deal with. laid back down to earth guys, and very helpful. def will be back.

from what I've researched the base seems pretty off and quite high, but the delta seems about right ~30 hp for a tune

2013 Evo X GSR - Cobb stage 1 93 octane v400

Hey,

Picked up my first evo about 2 months ago and just uploaded the 93 octane v400 map and did some logging. What is everyone's opinion, does this look safe? Knock seems minimal and completely fine, though the boost does seem a little low.

Opinions on if its safe to keep running until i get custom tune from ivey in a month or so?

I picked up the AP and uploaded 91 octane stage 1 map. I have a panel filter and a CBE and using the AP Dyno, I'm getting numbers around 330 hp and 420 tq.

Dyno settings are
2000 rpm start @ 3rd gear ending @7000 rpm I took the Kerb weight, 3527 and added my weight plus another 20 pounds guess for fuel

Is this normal? I've done a few runs and i'm consistently getting similar numbers
