2012 Evo GSR E85 Tune from RRE

Tuned yesterday. Feels amazing. RRE tuned me for 91 about 8 months ago. Mods at that time were: ETS Intake, UR Exhaust and Cat Delete, UICP, and RRE 3 port which gave me 335HP and 330tq.

Yesterday they added a AMS IC and E85.

E85 397HP and 371tq

Big thanks to Mike at RRE car feels so much better now, and smells good!

Nice numbers! Be interesting to see how long your stock clutch holds.

Out of curiosity how long of you think a stock clutch will last? I know driving style comes into play. I have only launched it from a start twice since I got it. About to hit 40k miles. I don't redline it much. Just normal driving with decent acceleration getting on freeways.

Haven't have a stick in over 20 years. Is it pretty easy to tell when the clutch is starting to go out? I know once it's beyond "starting" it will be easy to tell. Just wondering at the starting to go out point. Think I'm going with a twin clutch either Exedy or Competition just not sure what stage. My LONG term goals are about 600hp but not sure when that will happen. Want to do my suspension next with nice coils.

You can usually feel the clutch start slipping.

Congrats! Those are some good numbers. Just one question, where do you live? I got tuned at RRE too and want to convert to E85 but don't have any stations near me

If you don't launch it you can last for at least 25k miles, as I did with e85 on my stock setup for 15k miles or so. My stock clutch lasted until I went fpred on e85 at 25k miles or so.

You could probably last even longer without launching honestly, but eventually the added torque will kill it.

I fill up in Huntington Beach on beach blvd. I work in Costa Mesa of Bristol and the 405 so the HB station is only 7 or 8 miles from work. I also got two 5 gal gas cans I keep filled in the garage. It's worth the drive.

It's not too far from Irvine. I have been bugging Propel about the need for a station in the Irvine/Aliso area and they said they have been looking in the area. But you know Irvine. Everything has to look a certain way so maybe they won't like the color green Propel uses. Lol

Dudeeee you have made me want to switch to e85. As soon as I save up enough money I am gonna convert! Lol yea beach blvd isn't even far from my school (OCC). Kind of a newbie with the whole ethanol what do I need? Like fuel injectors, fuel pump?

Yea. RRE does it all for about 1300$ change injectors, fuel pump and dual map tune. If you are planning any other bolt ons maybe do it at the same time since they will be tuning anyways.
