Hello Everyone,

For anyone that has followed my build for the past year and a half knows that there has been much heartache regarding this car. After the first engine blew I debated for the longest time letting the car go and cutting my losses. But owning a built Evo has been a dream of mine since I was young and living in Japan. Growing up around imports all you life just embeds within you a need to mod and customize a car to your liking. A car says a lot about the person driving it and I wanted mine to say that I knew the correct method for putting parts together and to be a pioneer. That is why I chose to go with AGP. They were new to the X platform and I always wanted...at the root of my personality...wanted to put my eggs in the underdog's basket. Therefore, I put my faith in this company which has earned its success among other platforms to try and be a pioneer for their X products.

I am impressed with the results of this kit and Ben @ AGP who has been helpful throughout the entire troubleshooting process. I would like to give a shout out to Jack's Transmissions for their hard work despite the hiccups we have had with the build. I'd also like to thank AGP for being super helpful with the troubleshooting regarding the wastegate; their customer service is second to none and without their help I would have just given up and sold the X. I also would like to give a shout out to MAP for their amazing prices on parts. Without their support I would not have been able to have a full build. Finally, I want to praise Rob @ Kaizen Tuning for working with me throughout this. His tuning expertise and hard work have made this into a reality for me. Even though we are halfway across the nation he is still attentive as can be. For those in the market for an E-Tuner he is amazing to work with.

And now for the graph. Please understand that this is not the final product, but I would like to show what this kit is capable of.

Thanks! The vids will be a little tough since I don't have a Go Pro.

Nice

That's one hell of a beast for a daily or track car.

Is your WGDC maxed up top? Just curious as its tappering off.

Spool is much better than I expected, but looks like your exhaust housing is choking you some up top.

Nope, we wanted to have a flat TQ curve so have kept WGDC tamed. Last time I checked it was like 70% or so. I have the 23psi spring combo on the WG so we can try to see if turning it up may help.

So here is the final max that my current fuel setup can handle. At 5000ft I am quite impressed with the results. We will be reducing power by about 10-15% because in the end I want something that will last. What is 20hp in the long run compared to another engine being blown?

Great alternate to a go pro is a mobius actioncam. They are like 70 bucks on amazon and do a good job with solid 1080P 30 FPS and 720 60 FPS.
