What kind of numbers on race gas? Do the Evo X's have issues with the transmissions as the old Evo 8/9's at this power level? Back in 2004 my Evo was bought back by Mitsubishi for repetitive transmission issues at near stock power levels.

 

i was at 500 -550whp on stock driveline for a while and it held up very nice with launches eve X's seem to have a bit stronger tranny

Cause it's not necessary.

Twinscroll setups in the evoX community are more a fad than a necessity. I've never even seen a twinscroll setup make a track pass or get a trap speed worth even mentioning. Personally I would go with a 2.2 stroker motor before a twinscroll setup.
