nice.. does the FMIC and piping help with HP? or just like smoothness and spool time?

 

I'm sure it does. I just talked to my tuner before hand and he's seen more gains when the stock one is replaced however I've seen quite a few Evos running everything I have without the FMIC and piping. guess it's really just preference. the stock piping and core is so ugly IMO. I got the nice titanium anodized piping with a black anodized core for a stealthy front end look all black as well as a matching titanium intake pipe. it definitely produces more air flow which in turn created more power. worth every penny. here's a pic
