2014 GSR - Tuned by Devin @ Boostin Performance on 93octane

Hello Everyone! This is my long overdue post on my ongoing experience with the wonderful folks over at Boostin Performance.

On Sept 11th, 2014 - I flew from Fort Wayne, IN to Texas to pick up a brand new wicked white GSR.
Drove the car straight home from TX to Chicago covering 1000+ miles in 16hrs.

Next day the car got it's first oil change @ Boostin!

The car was kept stock for 1 year to see if any issues would come up... luckily the car has been nothing short of amazing!

Sept 29th, 2015-with about 16K on the odometer off to Boostin for the following:

ETS UICP
ETS Intake
ETS V2 Quiet
AMS Test Pipe
Grimmspeed EBCS
AEM Wideband
Tuned on 93 - COBB Accessport

After getting Devin tuned @ 318WHP on their mustang dyno - the car has woken up into an amazing daily driver! It drives smoother, pulls harder and longer till redline! During the process Devin did a great job going thru the tune and asking if I had any questions. Super professional and I think the picture of their shop shows it!

I've been driving the car daily and on numerous long trips to KS, MO, WI, MI, back and forth to chicago and the car has been a champ the whole time.
A year later since the tune, approaching 30K miles and it still runs amazing! And most importantly the car still puts me in my happy place with a smile every time I get into it.

Want to thank Cisco (for putting up with me while I was having difficulties deciding things!)
Devin (for helping make a long time dream slowly come true with the car and letting me be there to see her on the dyno!)
And everyone else there behind the scenes I have not met for their hard work that makes Boostin one of the only shops I will take my car to. THANK YOU GUYS and GALS!

Near future it's time for the 30K service, some fresh brakes, and finally (if I can convince the wifey): E85!

Thank you for the kind words! Glad to hear that you are enjoying the car. That is the goal!

They did work on my Evo ix in the past years. They always do great work, answer all your questions, and are very professional. I cannot wait to bring my 14' WW GSR for a tune as well. Just got back in the evo game last month. Feels great! Also, I think I will be doing similar mods to you. What tuning software are you using?

the only issues shifting i've ever really felt were during the winter when you start the car outside work after its been sitting in freezing temps. Which is normal IMO till everything warms up.
Otherwise shifting has always been smooth. I think it overall smoothed out the powerband and just feels like the car should have came from the factory

I tried to go bang for buck on the mods - trying to keep it simple. Made a last minute decision to go with the Accessport for the fact of it's convenience and ability to be used as boost gauge and knock count and many other things. Just bummer flex fuel isn't an option from Cobb on the EVO X.
looking at a retune on 93 and an added E85 map down the road once I pick up bigger injectors, Fuel pump and adapter kit
