My experience of Boostin Performance.

I got a dynotune by Devin at Boostin Performance few days ago. It was very hot weather around 85 degrees. When I entered his shop, Kristin and her dog welcomed me and my brother, and they made me feel comfortable like I was at home. She asked me to fill out an informative form, and Devin showed up soon after. We discussed the current tune that I had at that time. He was really nice and was willing to hear/understand what I tried to say about what I wanted. He also offered me to take a look around the shop and Red Demon & Junk Box So, my brother and I were hanging out and taking pictures until he set my evo on mustang dyno. Devin and one of mechanics (didn't ask his name... ) started to do boost leak test and vehicle inspection. They found boost leak on my throttle body and recommended me to put new seal in. The mechanic was super nice and took care of my car as his own car. After done with diagnoses, Devin started to tune the car. I think tuning took about 1hr and 30 mins. During that time, Devin informed me how the tune was progressing after each pulls. Also, he explained dynograph and told me what he was going to try after. This was the best aspect of Devin I think. He was just not tuning the car, but he was also taking care of the car. The car made 370whp/395wtq at max boost ~31psi on E85 at the first place, and he asked me he would like to de-tune the car a bit b/c those numbers were kinda risky with stock block. So, in the end we ended up with ~370whp/~370wtq and max boost at 28psi I was happy with these numbers because I can floor the car with reliable tune without worrying about engine knocking or misfire so on. Plus, Devin was really nice and friendly, and the most importantly, I strongly could trust him during dynotuning. Seems like he did some good work with the tune. You made the same HP as the last tune with 3 less psi and dialed the torque back for safety. Seems like a win!

 

Nice number on a mustang dyno. I have pretty much the same mods on my 8. I wonder what changes could be made to this car to make around 425/425 on a mustan dyno? Also do does boosting performance do email tune?
