Nice setup. Love that dash, good power results too.
Only question, why add the complexity of 8 injectors when one set of 2000's would've been plenty of fuel? With the motec tuning drivability would've been a breeze even on big injectors.

The smaller injectors will idle /drive much better. A big injector can only work so well at minimum pulse width. An ID2000 is going to have a much harder time at idle/low load controlling fuel.
I went from ID1300 to ID1700 a few years back. You could see it in the log and the car wasn't as crisp if you were really looking. Still drove well but there is only so much you can do on a larger injector.
OP- Great combination of parts and MoTec goodness. Epic build . Car looks and performs well.
Gotta agree here. The ID1300's are by far the best injectors I have ever tuned and used. Super smooth overall. I had to do a ton of tweaking when I moved to ID1700's and they still aren't the same as the ID1300's.
I still have yet to see a set of 2kcc's drive anywhere close to my standards. Driveable? Yes. Smooth and silky? Not at all.
I've never really had complaints with ID or FIC 2000's when properly tuned on built motor They just take some tuning time. If anything its becasue these car are usually rinning a 5bar map which is definitely meh on a stock ECU if thats whats in the car. Stand alone and 2000's are usually great.
I can say for certain that ID 1700's do not work or tune nearly as well as FIC 1650's from a drivability standpoint.

Its one of those things. Everyone has a different idea of "OK" based on what they know and are comfortable with. You can cover up alot of things with extra fuel so the car drives well. We still live in an incredible time where we can complain about how good/bad huge injectors are on 1000hp 4 cylinder street cars. LOL
If I was building a high hp street car I'd follow a similar path as the OP. Have the best of both worlds.

Thanks.. driveability it was my main goal. The cars was previously with a set of ID 1.700 as primaries. But it wasn't good as I expected.. with 1000 cc, on the primaries it runs so much better.
And I don't think is wasn't such a hassle to install 8 injectors. I loved the results.
Nice build. Dual injectors defiantly is the best of both worlds though I haven’t experienced any drivability issues on standalone ECU’s more on stock ECU’s.
