That's quite impressive on stock block! I'd love to see this car's longevity and be kept up to date how its doing.
wow, serious power on the stock block. Wonder how much it would make if it could rev to 9.5 or so.
Impressive numbers, especially considering its still on the tooth pick oem rods. Nice job
Looks great and, to echo the other posters, for how long?
I would be interested in what you think the tradeoffs between output, rev limit, driving style (?!) and longevity are. |
that 4" ets ic must be really hating life, needs more intercooling.
This is actually my car that Chris posted about and the work that was done was flawless. You really have to see it in person, but the turbo kit is a work of art. The car pulls hard and the powerband is super smooth. Chris @ Moore Automotive has done all my work which is why I have no doubt that my car will stay healthy, especially since the power that was made was only at 29psi. Thanks for the kind words guys!

Amazing build as usual from the guys down at Moore. Keep up the good work! |
Love to see another EFR turbo, can't wait to get mine running!
did this explode yet?
But seriously, any updates on the car? |
I just love that powerband and shelf like torque..
Awesome #'s on stock block! Like others, id like to see the longevity too. Itd be nice to know we can make these numbers reliably on the stock block.
Have fun with the new power! |
Just an update guys! The car is doing very well and when you go to see Chris @ Moore Automotive, you can be rest assured that they will tune your car and give you expert advice to lead you to a reliable and safe setup. Haven't been driving it alot lately because of all the pollen but car season is just around the corner!
looks like a blast, I'm getting a 7670 on a stock block with S1 cams at Moore (trying to keep good spool for tight road race courses) and can't wait.
Moore, I know this thread is for the EFR9180 but I'm really interested in your EFR8374 kit & what materials you use, is it EWG, top or bottom mount kit, do you supply heat shielding any pros or cons is there any problems with fitting issues???
Also do you have any detail pictures of the turbo kit as well plz? |
