Does the nav system in the X only have red and white plugs hookups?

mine too, but i heard theres a yellow hook up... so maybe theres functionality back there for it

 

They're called Composite Cables, And yes they have them.

^And the Yellow one is for Video signals, Red/White are the Left & Right Audio signals.

 

the manual shows all three plugs but in my EVO there are only 2 , I will try and dig around to see if its back there. maybe someone else can chime in. but on page 8-11 it shows 3 rca jack. man did we get jacked.

 

There under a panel somewhere right? I dont have the X but I read something about this exact thing in the Lancer GTS section. They would know, same system I believe.

 

correct there is a small black flap covering them but no yellow jack. just the red and white. . can someone confirm the lancers have all 3.

 

Its not back there guys. However, you can hook up an aux video signal, but it takes some reading to get it working. You can also hook up remote monitors for the back seats. Great for those long drives with the kids. Oh, did I also mention you can hook up a back up camera? Working on that one right now myself.

 

well PDXEvo , give us the skinny, how do I hook up the Video and have access to the AUX from the back seats. I dont mind reading and "my dad has an awsome set of tools" movie clip.

any of the car audio places have them, even the pawn shops carry then now. just a small camera.

 

Found a video that shows the '08 lancer w/yellow, white, & red hook-ups. Can be found at 1 min 40 seconds left.
