Factory Nav unit

Factory Nav unit

Since i ordered my evo without navi package.
If I decide to throw in a factory Nav unit after i get my car will dealers able to put it on?

The dealers service department shouldnt have any issues installing the factory Nav.

They should deff be able to do it. Get ready for them to charge the hell out of you though probably for the unit/labor. Good luck though man!

Question about factory navi. Can u use it while u r driving or does the ebrake have to be on? I tried searching and I find different answers to my question.

some cars lexus for example disables some navi features while the car is in motion, hate riding in my friends lexus cause if we want to look up an address we have to pull over and input it in then go to the destination unlike some where you could have your passenger input the address or yourself (not recommended LOL)

could the nav unit be used in other evos ?such as a 9 ive been looking at alot such as the pioneer avc n1 and such and would love to have one with the ease of factory stuff im sure some of the ecu features will not work but would there be any way ? im not great with audio but i def dont want a nav unit stuck to my window

I was wondering...
Since I live in Hawaii, does this navigation work in Hawaii?
I just like the look of the 7" screen being there over the non-nav choice.

he means you cant input an address or POI and hes right, 99% of cars do NOT allow you input information while driving. I have 2 cars with Navi and neither of them work while driving
