What cool feature does it have that you like most? and does it have a DVD playback or video playback? from what im reading online, it has a video input that only allows you to watch when parked...is that confirmed? Thanks.

DVDs play, but once you start moving the screen does not show the picture, but you still get audio. You can modify the factory audio only AUX input to include video also, which is most likely also motion limited.

I think the navi is one of the nicest factory units ive used, it allows you to use it while in motion, has a pc keypad layout vs normal alpha, two voices (*****ing betty and *****ing bob), some cool environment info, fuel info, maintenance log, etc etc... The music server is pretty neat to boot, but wish I could have it rip audio from my iPod or MP3 CDs rather than only being limited to Audio CDs for ripping.

Cool features I like:
30 gig HD that auto downloads music from cds you listen too
a great and detailed screen disaply
awesome looking radio menu
Good equalizer for the sound system
MP3 and MPEG playback
all kinds of gimmickie little features like even the speed of your wipers and dimming lights on the NAVI screen
Will play DVD
AUX port
touch screen
log screen and even time lap logging

Crazy fun ****.

I'm with you on that. I wish I could take the MP3s straight off a data CD.

What do you mean? Mine doesn't have the yellow aux in-port. Only white and red. No video ... do you have the yellow?

cool features. I thought they all came with the video input? or is that only in the lancer? I saw a video on cnet.com and they had a video input along with the red and white audio inputs...

Well, I was wondering if you could hook-up this to the navi? I hope so...

I am trying to confirm if my Evo X Nav unit will work with new HKS CAMP 2, system.

I wanted to buy the additional Boost module, just still waiting to see if someone can confirm.

It's good....not as good as the unit in my 06 Si that I just sold.

Drawbacks....

No voice recognition, you have to use the keypad.
Unit will not directly import MP3's onto the 30Gig HD
Unit will only mute the driver’s side speaker when you have music playing, should be all speakers.
Can't look up a POI by phone number! This just plain sucks!

Voices are a bit jerky...

My Honda unit would say clearly "Turn right on Arizona US 60"

The Mitsu voices are a bit slower "Turn right onto A....Z.....U......S.....60.

I do like that you can control the settings for the car in the unit. An the CCDB is a nice feature too.

I need to know this as well, seeing as how my plans were to keep it as clean as possible once i get my evo X by not having to install any gauges. Can anyone confirm if this will work?
