Its not available yet - as far as i know anyway.

I am eagerly waiting for it to be released - but I am running out of patience so I may just end up replacing the amp, spkrs, etc.

If it works the way it should - it would be a nice, no brainer install/upgrade.

One can only hope

So, is there any hope of something like that to be released? It's been on pre-order for months now.
It was also rumored that Metra would release a similar device.
I'm also tired of waiting to upgrade my H/U...

Why would you wanna use the stock amp if you buy a quality headunit?

Im not positive what that's supposed to mean....but....heres my opinion, do the job right! Most, at least decent, aftermarket units will probably push better sound from your speakers than that stock ultra low end amp. So "not wanting to run wires" is a weak reason to not take full advantage of the money you already spent. Run the speaker wires to the dash unit and you can im sure hook up the stock amp to the head unit as well to run only the sub.

This is probably going to be my first step in upgrading the audio. Unless I decide to do the upgraded sub/amp at the same time.
