Oops, I need to update my profile, I just took delivery of an Evo X MR with SST Transmission from Japan.

Its interesting to compare it to the IX I owned previously, but the X is a far superior car, especially in the handling department.

 

be careful, the IX-is-the-best-and-last-evo-ever crowd will be all over you for that statement ;-)

Enjoy the car. I had some good friends in High School (in Venezuela) that were from Trinidad. Sounds like a nice island you live on

 

Having owned and rallied an Evo 1, Evo 5, Evo 6, Evo 7, Evo 9 and now an Evo X, I can confirm from personal experience that the fastest Evo was the Evo 1, but the car with the best handling is the Evo X.

The Evo 1 was much lighter than all the others and it had terrific acceleration and straight line speed, but each model got improved handling and the Evo X is clearly and by far the best.
