Anyone get better deal than Sirius mailed offer?
My trial period is about to run out on my Sirius radio and I got a notice in the mail the other day for:
6 months - $77.70
12 months - $142.45
24 months - $272.95
or
The "summer special" 24 months for only $249.99.
My question is has anyone gotten a better deal from Sirius? Thanks

I am, but I've had Sirius for about 5 years or so. I have the lifetime subscription (don't know if they still offer it). It was something like $500 for lifetime use, but I only get to switch receivers 3 times.

^ Thanks for you input. I would have to think that sat radio would be like a hotel as far as they might as well give you a great deal than not to have you as a customer at all. I am going to call them and offer $100-$110 for one year and see what they say.

not true unfortunately. I have had it for a few years and they won't change pricing. Sirius has 8 million subscribers so they don't need the money...and now that xm and sirius murged...forget it. BTW I pay 9.99 for a year in advance...$120 for the year...I thought that was standard.
