Keyless system question

Can I start the car with the remote in my pockets and than leave the car with the remote or do I have to keep the remote inside the car while it letting the car warm up? Sorry if this been answered but I look everywhere and can't find the answer

yes you can leave the car with the remote in your pocket while the car is running. It will beep at you but that's about it.

anywhere you want. I've left the wife in the car in the parking lot with the key in my pocket.

I'm not sure if you can lock the doors though when you do this.

that sucks. I was thinking that once you go out of range, the car would shut itself if anyone try to move it. Be nice if it was that way.

Dont forget to give the key to the valet if you decide to valet park your car.... Otherwise, they will not be able to retreive your car!
